Safety and privacy
Built so the right drink reaches the right towel.
A beach is full of strangers. These are the rules the apps enforce, so a delivery goes to the person who ordered it and your details go no further than they need to.
The handoff
No code, no delivery
- The code is shown on your tracking screen from the moment you order
- The runner sees your name, the note and the photo, never your code
Alcohol
ID first, every time
- Runners carry alcohol only for bars that have recorded checking the runner’s own ID
- The tracking screen reminds you to have your ID ready
Your details
Who sees what, and for how long
Your name and phone
Hidden from the bar until it accepts your Order, and from the runner until they have picked it up.
Your position
Shared while your Order is on its way, and no longer. The runner’s location is not kept after delivery.
Your spot photo
Optional. The bar receives it when it accepts, the runner when they claim, stripped of the data the file carried. It is deleted when the Order ends.
Your card
Never asked for. Beach Bliss takes no payment, so there is no card number to store or to lose.
Your other Orders
A bar sees only its own Orders. Nothing about what you bought from the bar next door.
Your data, on request
Export everything the app holds about you, or delete your account, from your profile.
The policies, in full
Each app has its own privacy policy.
